National Hispanic Health Foundation Honors Dr. Lantigua

On Friday, November 15, the National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) honored Dr. Rafael Lantigua  for his leadership in promoting diversity and patient care. In his acceptance remarks, Dr. Lantigua highlighted the importance of working hard in order to make dreams, a reality. Each year the NHHF awards scholarships to Latino students attending medical, nursing, dental, public health, and other health professions schools. Among this year’s recipients was Julian Ponce, a student at Columbia School of Public Health. Many thanks to the foundation for recognizing their work!
