Pantry Amazon Wishlist

As food insecurity continues to rise, our community partners have emphasized the critical need to keep local pantries stocked. In response, the office has extended the opportunity to donate throughout the year, and those interested can continue supporting the drive through the Pantry Amazon Wishlist

Winter Clothing Drive January 27 – February 14

This winter, we are hosting the CUIMC Winter Clothing Drive. We are collecting new and gently used items in teenage and adult sizes.

Community Partners

All donations will directly benefit: 

Fort Washington Men’s Shelter

  • Currently serving 140 men and located in the Armory. The shelter provides primary care and mental health services.

Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights

  • The coalition works to educate, defend, and protect the rights of immigrants. One of these methods is through the Worker Center which empowers and provides job opportunities for participants in the program who often experience housing insecurity.

George Washington High School for Media and Communications

  • This Washington Heights high school educates a large migrant student population, as well many students living in temporary housing.

Don't Walk By 2025

Don’t Walk By 2025 is an annual winter outreach that connects unhoused and hungry neighbors to hot meals, winter resources, health services, shelter, and more. During one of the coldest winter months, volunteers from different churches (and beyond) gather to serve on street teams or as on-site support to reach neighbors living on the streets. Don't Walk By is happening on Saturday, February 8th at The Salvation Army (120 West 14th Street). Registration is open now!

Warming Up NYC

AIMS Council will run their 4th annual Warming Up NYC clothing drive from January 27th to February 9th. Acceptable items include new or gently used adult sized hats, coats, sweaters, pants, gloves, blankets, scarves, and shoes.

Volunteer to Organize Clothing Donations
